CHILD EDUCATION INITIATIVE FOR WEAVERS LAUNCHED

Exotic Echo launched yet another scheme to empower Rural India. On 12 Dec 2009 it launched " PERSONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY SCHEME" to make a platform available for well meaning individual's to do their bit for the society and help in more equitable distribution of opportunity and thereby wealth.

We have the vacancy presently to sponsor 75 children of our weavers. The scheme calls for making a contribution of only Rs 6300/- per year for at least five years to sponsor a child's primary education upto class eight. Sponsor's may sponsor the child beyond class eight if they so desire later on.

The sponsorship amount takes care of the tution fees, two pairs of uniforms, books and stationery. The additional expenditure if any will be managed by EXOTIC ECHO.

A YOUNG GIRL SHOWS THE WAY

This perhaps is the best case of what extension of PERSONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY can be. Zoya Enakshi Ali is a student of class eight from the St Mary's School in Pune, India.
Zoya came to know about child sponsorship scheme and has decided to sponsor a child from the money she has collected by saving her pocket money and gift cheques given to her by her various relatives. THIS IS A VERY MOVING STORY and proves that we really do not have to be earning loads of money to extend our PERSONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.
The kid she has sponsored is RUYIVOLU aged 08 years from the Diezephe village in Nagaland , India.
